unknown why the trailer came off the ball . I noticed that the safety chains were about 1/3 the size I would want on any trailer I was going to tow . I came up on this boat and trailer along side the road as I was going to pull a car out of a small ditch . I called the Sheriffs Department and advised them of the wreck . By the time I arrived back at the boat accedent the owner was on scene . He was towing the boat behind a full size truck with a canopy . He got down the road 5 miles and realized the boat was gone . He did not feel anything when it broke loose . Luck that it went off the right side of the road into a stump only damaging itself and the trailer .

local oyster company called with a disabled truck in longbeach WA. Towed it to Ocean Park . Found out that driver had mistakenly put gas instead of diesel in it . I have had several comments posted about this tow . I typically would not have used this truck on this tow . I was told this was a 22 foot truck so I took my class B wrecker .
